Things I love about Shelby…

She calms down and gazes at me with a grin when I sing to her even if it is off key and makes no sense. (9 weeks)
When I am in sight if she wants to nurse or be held she does not do a big cry, but instead does a little whine. (9 weeks)
She does not like to go to sleep in the bed without me laying beside her. (9 weeks)
When she wakes up in the mornings, and I take her out of the burrito blanket she never realizes right away that her arms are free. When she does realize it a few moments later she does this enormous back arching stretch. (8 weeks)
She plays cooing games with me. (8 weeks)
She smiles first thing in the morning at Kaitlynn, while Kaitlynn is right in Shelby's face talking to her sweetly. (8 weeks)
She loves to snuggle into me to sleep, and is quite content to sleep that way all night (7 weeks)
The way she breaks off the breast to gaze up at me and smile. (7 weeks)
She still does the sucking motion in her sleep even if she did not fall asleep with a paci or nursing. (6 weeks)
How she ultimately decided that she will take a paci because she absolutely does not want milk at times even if she does want the closeness of nursing. (5 weeks)
How my touch and smell calm her when she is in a fit. (5 weeks)
Her sweet baby's breathe. (9 days old)
She has decided to not take pacifiers for comfort sucking even though she does not want to nurse. (2 days)
She is a snacker nurser, and wants to be continuously plastered at the breast. (2 days old)
