Summary

This book sparks some of my fondest memories of childhood reading. The copy in my family is over 100 years old and has aged poorly, so I decided to restore it in digital format. The icons around the book invoke various features, from translations of the German poetry into English, to dissolves between the damaged to repaired versions. The “pages” make sound as they are “turned,” and the “flaps” on the pictures “flip down” to recreate the original whimsical image transformations.
