Showroom Web Station

Summary

The Showroom Web Station (SWS) replaced the legacy Automark touch screen kiosk product.  The SWS allows Automark to maintain a dealer’s kiosk inventory in-house rather than rely on error-prone data transfers.  The SWS is easily downloadable thanks to a small footprint.  Upon installation, it automatically searches out existing legacy kiosk applications and creates launch buttons on the fly for those that are not data-driven.

The SWS establishes an FTP connection to download custom GUI elements and sets the dealer’s homepage based on a unique ID.

The dealer may customize an IE-like Favorites folder and further control which of the non-data-driven apps are displayed.  The SWS provides secure Internet connectivity (keeps customers from closing the application or wandering to inappropriate non-dealership websites); dealer may override these restrictions with a unique password.
